Brentford FC Community Sports Trust
With our community work spanning more than three decades, Brentford FC Community Sports Trust has established itself as a pioneering organisation for the local community. It uses the power of sport to educate, motivate and inspire people from all backgrounds.
Working in partnership with Brentford FC, the Trust delivers a range of programmes in education, employability, sports participation, health and community engagement. We have won the ‘Football League Community Club of the Year’ award four times and have cemented our reputation as a community-led Football Club.
In 2018 the Trust joined the European Football for Development Network and aligned our strategy with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, which demonstrates our local impact at a global level and our ongoing commitment towards sustainability.
The Trust is entering an exciting phase of expansion and now operates across two new state of the art sites. We are a key partner at Gunnersbury Park Sports Hub which opened its doors to the public in 2021, whilst also enjoying a purpose-built office space at our Community Stadium Hub adjacent to the Brentford FC Stadium.

Main Purpose of the Content Creator
This role will support the implementation of the Brentford FC CST Communications Strategy through the delivery of high quality media content. The successful candidate will have an important role in creating original content across various platforms and will support the Marketing and Communications team to stay ahead of social media trends.
The role will suit someone with excellent written communication skills, an innovative mindset, and a passion for creating original, exciting, and engaging content. We are looking for someone who is a confident self-starter and comfortable dealing with a range of people, from project participants to First Team players and senior executives.
Responsibilities
· Create original and creative long and short form content across all digital platforms.
· Develop an ongoing content calendar and strategy aligned to the Trust’s overall Communications strategy.
· Be on top and ahead of social media trends.
· Plan, shoot, produce and edit content for all Trust channels. Including writing scripts as required and conducting interviews.
· Work alongside and collaboratively with other departments at the Trust to deliver campaigns.
Events
· Provide video and photography support as needed on Trust events, including fundraising and public engagement events.
The Selection Criteria - Essential Personal Characteristics
· Demonstrable ability using Adobe Creative suite apps; Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop in particular.
· Evidence of producing and self-shooting video content across digital and social media platforms.
· Team-oriented approach with a strong desire to collaborate and work across different departments.
· Strong IT skills.
· Ability to deliver content against tight deadlines and able to respond to quick changes whilst remaining calm and focused.
· Good photography skills.
· Ability to think creatively and to clearly communicate ideas and concepts.
· High levels of attention to detail and an eye for visuals.
· Confident script and copy writing skills and ability to conduct interviews for video if required.
· Strong written and verbal communications skills.
· Engaging, warm and friendly personality with the ability to quickly build relationships with people at all levels.
Desirable:
· Passionate and knowledgeable about sport and community activity.
· Motivated and driven to create the best original content for Trust channels across all departments.
· Experience of creating artwork for digital marketing.
· Full driving licence preferred due to requirement to travel but not an essential requirement.
The Appointment
Annual salary will be £25,000 to £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
