Primary Purpose:
The position will be responsible for the execution and technical leadership of the IT Asset Management Lifecycle (Request thru Dispose / Reallocate) and a key contributor to the company’s Configuration Management Services by administrating a Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This will include both Hardware and Software Asset Management (HAM/SAM)

- Enable the collection/discovery of enterprise hardware and software inventory.
- Lead the process of determining Effective License Positions for Microsoft and other large software providers.
- Integrate assets from acquired companies and enable the analysis and reporting needed to facilitate this integration.
- Oversee ITAM service request ticket queue, ensuring tickets are addressed and resolved in a timely manner, with a high quality.
- Enable the decommissioning of hardware and Software Configuration Items
- Manage a well-maintained record of destruction and recycling activities.
- Provide regular status updates to leadership on operational issues and risks, as well as longer-term maintenance and project tasks.
- Review and approve changes to the Configuration Management System, its processes and polices.
- Ensure the data integrity of the CMDB including the CI data model and relationships. Take any preventive and corrective action as necessary by marshaling teams to correct service mapping data issues.
- As a key advisor on Configuration Management proactively initiate ideas to significantly improve the process which may include being the subject matter expert on CM Continuous Improvement projects.
- Provide audit defense support for both server and desktop software products.
- Provide coaching to less experienced team members.
- Enable the construction of Dashboard metrics to server ITAM, Desktop Services, Security, Leadership and other areas toward the maintenance and management of Software and Hardware assets.
- Monitor these ITAM dashboards and/or develop reporting towards improving operational and team efficiency.
- Enable and manage a standard Software Catalog, including the monitoring and management of EOS/EOL software.
- Review and Revise Policy and SOP documentation annually
- Oversee the administration and procurement for Commercial Off the Shelf products. and work with leadership
Minimum Skills and Competencies:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or other related discipline.
- 6+ years of experience in an IT Asset Management role
- 3+ years’ experience working with an ITSM/ITAM tool containing a CMDB.
- Hands on experience managing CMDB services.
- Must perform well in a high-energy, dynamic, and team-oriented environments.
- Self-motivated achiever who gains satisfaction from providing excellent customer service
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with above average skills in Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish working relationships with individuals at varying levels within the organization.
- Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to new situations and learn quickly.
- Works independently with little supervision.
- Ivanti Neurons ITSM/ITAM toolset experience. Other ITSM/ITAM toolsets may be considered.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with one or more Business Intelligence Tools such as Power BI, Cognos, etc.

The base range offered for the role is: $68,500 - $95,000 and may vary based on internal equity, and job-related skills, knowledge and experience; among other factors.
