To support our ambitious plans to grow our student intake and develop our academic offering over the coming years we are seeking a creative individual to join our Marketing & Campaigns team and bring new ideas and experience to the fore. This role supports a Marketing Business Partner to deliver marketing and promotional activities for a portfolio of academic Schools and Departments. As a School Marketing Officer you will play a key role in delivering impactful communications and marketing strategies and activities for your Schools.
This role will suit an ambitious marketing practitioner, with a relevant qualification or experience, and who is looking to broaden their marketing skills. Previous experience of working in the HE sector is desirable but not essential.
You will have:
- A good honours degree or relevant professional qualification, e.g. CIM qualification, or relevant Marketing experience
- Experience of implementing marketing strategies and effective communication plans to meet customers’ needs, including experience of utilising traditional and digital channels
- Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) – ability to write concise, engaging copy for non-technical audiences
- Ability to identify marketing challenges and initiate appropriate solutions
- Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building; diplomacy and the confidence to challenge opinions appropriately
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
