A vacancy has arisen for a Compliance Manager at CCL Label UK Sleeves.
CCL Label UK Sleeves have 2 operational sites in the UK and are part of a global organisation supplying plain and printed materials for the packaging of a variety of products primarily for the FMCG markets.
This position will be to provide support for our company’s internal management systems and product quality requirements reporting to the site General Manager and the company’s Process Manager.
The role will be based at the Castleford site with QA duties directly relating to the site manufacturing activities and additional Compliance requirements to support the operating systems utilised at both of the UK locations
The primary functions of the role are:-
· Monitor and assess quality standards of manufactured materials
· Manage the site complaint investigations to establish root cause of issues and corrective, preventative actions.
· Assess and monitor the physical site standards in relation to the appropriate industry standards
· Participate in Continual Improvement activities relating to production efficiency and other topics aimed at achieving business objectives.
· Develop and maintain systems for the approval of suppliers and obtaining the necessary information for regulatory affairs, legal and technical data.
· Effectively communicate with customers, suppliers and internal CCL personnel on the activities relating to industry compliance and regulatory affairs.
These activities are aimed at supporting both technical, sales and production personnel as well as meeting with our customers’ requests.
Key requirements.
· Skills and working knowledge of QA systems and practices.
· Experience in a manufacturing industry preferably within the FMCG market.
· Skills in conducting audits of both manufacturing practices and business systems.
· Knowledge on H&S, Environmental and Ethical requirements and business practices.

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
