Summary
Queens Drive Primary School is a thriving school in the heart of Fulwood (428 on roll). Governors are seeking to appoint a full time School Business Support Officer to work alongside the current admin team in the busy school office. We are looking for a committed individual who will provide support to the overall schools business systems, that crucially underpin our overall effectiveness.
The individual must have a willingness to work hard, be highly motivated, organised and effective with their task and time management. They must be a team player that has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. The school office is the hub of the school community and can be extremely busy, the ideal candidate would have school office experience however, full training will be provided for the right person. It is more important that the candidate has the right skill set.
This is a 37 hour contract, term time only plus 5 inset days. The hours of work will be Mon-Wed (8.30am - 4.00pm) Thurs & Fri (8.00am - 4.30pm) with half hour lunch every day.
This post would suit someone who thrives on being busy, loves a challenge, enjoys being part of a fabulous team and wants a term time only contract.

Essential Qualifications
- 5 A-C GCSEs including English & Maths or equivalent
- Level 3 Business and Administration qualification (or a willingness to undertake)
Desirable Qualifications
- ICT qualification Level 2
Desirable Experience
- Experience of working in a busy office
- Experience of working in a school environment
- Experience of using SIMS/FMS
- Experience of reception duties
- Experience of working as a team member
- Experience of operating online payment systems
- Experience of managing budgets
