Eleanor Lodge provides exceptional levels of support to adults, aged 18 and over, with learning disabilities and mental health issues. It is situated in Delapre, Northampton and offers a wonderful living environment in which our customers can enjoy an enhanced quality of life. We also offer domiciliary care to adults living in their own homes within the community.

As a Community Support Worker you will act as a key worker for customers, assisting with the provision of positive enabling intervention and support for adults with mental health problems, physical and/or learning disabilities.
What will you be doing?As a Community Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
- Act as key worker to a set number of customers. Supporting with learning, independent, volunteering and employment opportunities and outcomes.
- You will act as the first point of contact with external agencies and professionals, providing advice and guidance.
- Supporting customers to create, manage and update vocational profiles.
- Travel freely and flexibly across Northamptonshire.
Requirements:
- Full driving license and access to your own vehicle
- Self-motivated, personable and a creative approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work on own initiative and within a team.

The council is in the process of implementing a new pay structure and terms and conditions which will be applicable to this role. The outcome could result in a future variation to the advertised salary, and this will be discussed at interview.
