We turn big ideas into the products, content and services millions of people love.
And we do it all right here at Sky.
As a Scrum Master in Digital Technology, you'll be working on projects that are at the heart of our customer service capability. Here, we innovate, build and maintain Sky.com enabling our customers to buy, manage and get help with the products they love. You will be joining a diverse team where the focus is collaboration, doing what’s best for the customer and our people and having some fun while we do it.

  • Support multi-skilled, multi-discipline Development Teams developing various products with a diverse audience in delivery, processes and ways of working.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, mentoring teams to improve the efficiency and quality of their delivery.
  • Promote transparency in processes and outputs – using metrics and insight to drive decision making and create feedback loops.
  • Build a psychologically safe environment where challenges can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on learning and problem-solving.
  • Drive the proactive development of roadmaps and backlogs with multiple Product Owners & Stakeholders
  • Own the direction and development of the Scrum Master chaptership, identifying areas of improvement, growth, community and empowerment.
  • An integral member of the digital service leadership team and wider extended leadership team participating in discussions, activities and decision making that affect the wider business area.
What you'll bring
  • Extensive experience as a Scrum Master within a fast-paced software development environment, delivering multiple products and programmes of work.
  • Confidence in diligently applying Agile practices, metrics and frameworks, with the ability to support and hold other scrum masters, leadership and stakeholders to account to practice and understand Agile and its values.
  • A passion for continuous improvement – identifying, driving and inspiring others to define cross-cutting continuous improvement opportunities that are done at the right time and with the best methods to implement.
  • Outstanding communication and social skills at all levels, with demonstrable ability to influence decisions in a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Experience of mentoring junior Scrum Masters or those looking to move into Scrum Mastery.
  • Highly motivated attitude to drive empowerment, growth and ownership as a servant-leader.

You’ll also design, develop and deliver digital services for millions of customers across the UK.

Inclusion & how you'll work
Recognised by The Times and Stonewall, we take pride in our approach to diversity and inclusion. Investing in society, fighting racial injustice and setting ambitious targets for representation at Sky.
We’ve embraced hybrid working and split our time between unique office spaces and the convenience of working from home. You’ll find out more about what hybrid working looks like for your role later on in the recruitment process.
Your office space
Leeds
Our spacious tech hub is less than a mile from Leeds train station. There’s plenty of parking in the surrounding streets and at the nearby CitiPark.
Need a break? You can blow off steam over a game of pool or table tennis, and stay fit at our subsidised gym.
We'd love to hear from you
Inventive, forward-thinking minds come together to work in Tech, Product and Data at Sky. It’s a place where you can explore what if, how far, and what next.
But better doesn’t stop at what we do, it’s how we do it, too. We embrace each other’s differences. We support our community and contribute to a sustainable future for our business and the planet.
If you believe in better, we’ll back you all the way.
Just so you know: if your application is successful, we’ll ask you to complete a criminal record check. And depending on the role you have applied for and the nature of any convictions you may have, we might have to withdraw the offer.
