Job Title: Community Manager

Location: Remote

Focused on building award-winning bags and carry accessories adapted for a dynamic lifestyle. Our marketing team is seeking a talented and experienced Community Manager to lead our social media efforts. As a Community Manager, reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing our online community across various social media platforms, including Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. If you have experience in Japanese SNS, it will be a big plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies to engage and grow our online community.
  • Manage and moderate Able Carry’s social media accounts including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Reddit.
  • Develop and post engaging content, including product releases, promotions, and user-generated content.
  • Take charge of monitoring and respond to customer inquiries, comments, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify and engage with brand advocates, ambassadors, and influencers to grow our community and brand awareness.
  • Provide timely feedback on customer feedback and social media metrics, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure social media efforts are aligned with overall brand messaging and goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices, adapting strategies accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Solid and proven experience as a Community Manager or similar role, with a portfolio of successful social media campaigns
  • Experience in outdoor or bag industry will be an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Japanese language is a big plus
  • Strong eye for feed planning and aesthetics: The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of visual composition, color theory, and an ability to create visually engaging content.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of social media management tools and platforms, including Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
  • Strong understanding of social media metrics and analytics, with the ability to analyze and interpret data to drive strategy
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with strong self-motivation and discipline
