Job description
With a passion for people, culture and engagement, you will be responsible for developing engaging, inspiring and memorable content suitable for different audiences across a range of channels and developing a consistent look and feel for the team's communications. A key focus will be on supporting communication planning and delivery across our multiple concurrent strategic change projects, working closely with staff from other disciplines within the team (Project Management, Change Management, Business Analysis and Architecture) to build awareness and adoption of change.
With an ability to think creatively and strategically you will ensure that our internal communications and engagement offer is aligned with strategic goals, creating, and delivering regular internal and outward-facing departmental communications, and to support raising the profile of the team. A great story-teller, you will be able to synthesise complex information into engaging, succinct and easy to understand content. You will have a high attention to detail and good grammatical knowledge, as well as the ability to write in a variety of styles and to edit the contributions of others.
We are committed to enabling our employees to work in a hybrid model with flexibility over when, where and how to achieve the required outputs, in discussion with your manager.
We are committed to exploring flexible working opportunities which benefit the individual and University.
We’re one of the best not-for-profit organisations to work for in the UK.
