Job description
As the Communications and Marketing Lead (maternity cover), you will be part of the Digital, Data and Design team, working closely with our Content Officer as well as colleagues across the organisation, including the senior management team.
You will lead on making sure all our communications and marketing activities are effective, impactful and engaging. You will also manage our social media channels and pay-per-click advertising, as well as managing our work with press and media. You will be instrumental in help us make sure we achieve our strategic communications objectives, including consolidating awareness of our brand.
You’ll be an ideal candidate for this role if you have a passion for how good communication is crucial in enabling charities to make real change. You will be experienced in managing a calendar of different communications and marketing activities and thrive in a fast-paced and varied environment. You will have a range of digital marketing skills and experience using them in the not-for-profit sector. You will also have personal values that align with the vision, mission, aims and values of RCEW.

This is a fixed term maternity cover post until September 2024. You need to be available to start work in September 2023.
