We have an exciting opportunity for a Communications Co-ordinator to join our dynamic Marketing team, supporting the delivery of the external communications strategy, and creating the internal communications plan, including delivering communications for several corporate projects. To Drive forward internal communications, social and digital campaigns and event management within Yeovil College, creating new channels as appropriate.
Working with a number of stakeholders to create corporate content and messaging appropriate to key target audiences and lead corporate communications projects. Create and write engaging and compelling copy for an external audience, across a number of established channels and products, including developing content for digital, print, broadcast and outdoor
To actively engage in developing and promoting the departments operational plan, engage with achieving the College strategic aims and development plans while promoting equality, diversity and fundamental British Values in all aspects of the role.

To be considered for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
- Successful experience of working within a fast-paced communications environment.
- Experience of working to tight and conflicting deadlines.
- Experience of developing toolkits for internal and external communications.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Ability to prioritise, multi- task effectively and accurately under pressure.
- Able to achieve tight deadlines, working pro-actively and demonstrate initiative.
- Good knowledge of windows based software, word processing and desk top publishing programmes.
- Familiarity of using and updating websites and social media.
- Educated to at least level 5 or above (HND/Degree-level).
Full time, 37 hours per week, all year round.
Salary £24,00 - £25,500 depending on experience & qualifications
