Job description
We have a fantastic opportunity for an innovative, entrepreneurial, data led, and insight driven Performance Marketing Director to lead our rapidly growing department, that in the last two years has grown from just two people to a team of 12.
The team works with a number of high-profile brand clients in B2C and B2B, in Automotive, Ecommerce, FMCG and Technology sectors. You will have the opportunity to drive the next level of growth for performance marketing at TMW Unlimited.
At TMW we are different from media agencies, and we are also different from creative agencies. We are the perfect blend of both. We care not for vanity metrics. Our north star is in driving true performance for our clients. Performance with a demonstrable impact on business metrics that matter - like customer acquisition, retention, brand perception, recall and revenue.
As such our performance team is empowered to make their own decisions, be as autonomous as they can be, take risks and drive change – all in the name of getting results for our clients.
At TMW Unlimited we offer Hybrid working, which for us is a blend of working remotely and in the Bristol, Reading or London office. It’s all about choosing the best place to be for you, your team, your manager and the business on any given working day…
What you will do…
- Lead and support a talented team of agile, enthusiastic, results driven digital marketing experts in multiple specialisms across paid and organic media.
- Be our lead storyteller in new business client pitching, proposals and presentations. Presenting innovative digital performance strategies that win new business and help expand existing accounts.
- Relish the opportunity to identify and build digital performance approaches and products required for by opportunity, sector or specialism (e.g., a paid social approach for FMCG) to help drive new business opportunities.
- Provide insight, knowledge and data that helps enables your peers to better understand and talk performance marketing with their clients.
- Blend multiple data sources to inform strategic planning – covering performance data, CRM, and third-party sources (e.g., GWI, SEMrush, Moz, Buzzsumo etc.).
- Full funnel experimenter – you will plan experiments in MVT, Creative, A/B and CRO across the full customer journey in both B2C and B2B, building statistically significant models that drive real performance uplift.
- Work across the division to help drive fame for the Media team and proof in our work, with client success case studies and awards wins!
Requirements
What you will need to succeed…
- Demonstrable experience in the Performance Marketing space, at a Senior level within an agency environment, either currently or a previous role. You'll be able to demonstrate how you have already led successful performance marketing / project teams and driven exceptional growth.
- Leadership experience, you’ll have a record of success in leading large, successful, high growth, multi-disciplined performance teams.
- Strategic and hands-on Paid media expertise, experience of delivering biddable media programmes using various platforms, including but not limited to Paid Social (Facebook, Instagram LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat), Search (Google, Bing), Audio (Spotify, Soundcloud), TV (Sky AdSmart), Marketplace (Amazon, E-bay) and Programmatic advertising.
- Strong strategic understanding of SEO and search marketing, covering on-site and technical performance, and knowledge of how to use within a long-term demand generation mix.
