Job description
We are a rapidly growing forward thinking law firm with a friendly culture. We have a vacancy in our Accounts Department based in our head office, which is situated in a beautiful office in Potters Bar.
Responsibilities:
- Recording receipts into our bank account into our Case Management System (CMS).
- Sending receipts to clients.
- Completing payment forms in the CMS.
- Reconciling payment forms against bank account details.
- Investigating and identifying unknown or missing payments or receipts in the bank or on the CMS.
- Producing invoices for work carried out.
- Drafting and/or checking Financial Statements and Completion Statements produced by the legal team.
- Assisting in the administration of our internal bank reconciliation.
- Ensuring our accounts documentation are scanned accurately into the CMS.
You will typically work almost completely paperless. You may need to update clients or third parties over the telephone and email.
Your Skills and Experience
We are looking for a local candidate who has either:
- a mathematics / finance / economics a-level or university degree; or:
- any other degree involving numeracy; or:
- has worked for a year or more in a financial or accounting role.

- is computer literate.
- can work under pressure.

- has a strong work ethic.
