Tropicana Brands Group (TBG) brings together an exciting, global portfolio of some of the world's most iconic juice brands including Tropicana, Naked, KeVita, Izze, Dole and Copella. Established in 2022 as a joint venture between PAI Partners and PepsiCo, the company aims to promote new growth for its business, opportunities for its people and accelerate a vision to quench the world's thirst for more delight and nourishment.
TBG is looking for someone to add to their Global Communications Team who can lead Communications and Public Affairs efforts in support of their European business, which exists primarily in the UK, France and Belgium where we have a large manufacturing footprint.
- Lead strategic, external communications efforts on behalf of the company, including building outreach plans, narratives and content to reach targeted audiences.
- Support local executives to vet and coordinate any appropriate visibility efforts
- Manage incoming media inquiries from European outlets to our brands or TBG
- Support the business in managing the communications aspect of any market specific crises or issues
- Help shape the company's government affairs capability including the establishment of processes, procedures and tools to unlock efficiency
- Participate in industry trade associations and coalitions, negotiate industry positions/policies, and help build consensus consistent with TBG's global corporate view.
- Serve as a liaison to key business partners on critical policy issues that may affect our business as well as manage any associated regulatory and consumer/reputational risks.
- Work closely with the local HR team to articulate key policies and procedures to employees
- Support the development of internal communications pieces on behalf of the EU CEO as appropriate
- Assist in building out cultural initiatives
The most appealing candidates will have the following qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience in a Communications or Corporate Affairs based role
- Strong understanding of the food and beverage sector
- Experience navigating the policy and government affairs space
- Expertise in external communications, including proficiency in all aspects of media relations
- Enthusiasm for building something new and operating in an agile manner
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders, external and internal
- Executive presence inclusive of strong verbal and written communications skills
- A forward thinker who has a vision and enthusiasm for building something new
- A growth mindset and ability to operate with agility
- Comfort managing multiple priorities and serving many partners in a fast-moving environment
- Must have ability to work independently and efficiently with little supervision
- Must be willing to travel internationally when required and operate in different countries
- Fluency in French is appreciated, not required
