Job description
We’re looking for a Commercial Assistant to join our commercial team our prestigious health care contract at Princess Royal University Hospital.
The Commercial Assistant would be responsible for assisting with the commercial administration of the contract, supporting in the preparation of the monthly application, monthly payment assessments for supply chain partners and as well as other ad hoc commercial work to support the business. The successful candidate will have a previous commercial management experience and be confident handling multiple supply chain partners. They will have excellent IT and communication skills in order to hit the ground running in this role.
The successful candidates will have;
- Previous commercial management experience
- Experience of processing subcontractor/supplier payments
- Understanding of NEC contract would be beneficial
- Experience using Maximo would be beneficial
- Excellent IT skills – MS Office + Excel (Intermediate: VLOOKUP’s and Pivots)
You would be responsible for;
- Supporting day to day commercial administration
- Tracking payments with cumulative payment spreadsheet
- Ensuring timely assessments and payments from/to subcontractors
- Pricing Additional/Small Works (RPQ's) & Fee Variations (CE's)
- Challenging subcontractors / Identify any unnecessary costs and inefficient activities
- Training contractors to do Maximo applications
