About The Role
An exciting modernisation and transformation journey is underway at Morrisons and our Technology teams are working together to improve how technology is used across our business as well as how we deliver it. An opportunity has come up for an experienced Cloud Operations Specialist to join our Technology team at our head office in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
You'll be responsible for:
- The operational effectiveness of all Morrisons’ Cloud technologies
- Monitoring and controlling standards and quality to deliver an enduring capability
- Day to day responsibilities will include: OS and image management, service improvement, capacity planning, CI/CD enablement, incident and problem management, monitoring and alerting, change and maintenance as well as audit and compliance
- Identifying and recommending improvements in design, in order for the solution to be more efficient, accurate and responsive
- Ensuring you are embedded with the different teams who we work closely with from developers to supporting vendor parties

About You
You'll ideally have the following skills and experience:
- Good working knowledge of Cloud Platforms - including AWS, GCP and Azure, Automation (Terraform, Packer, Ansible), basic Cloud Infrastructure build blocks and basic Linux Administration (Docker Container Technologies)
- Ideally hold an existing certification in AWS or GCP to associate level or similar
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Self motivated and able to work under your own initiative
- A good understanding of customer workflow and SLAs
- Previous experience working closely with project teams in the successful implementation of new and upgraded designs
