Job description
We are currently looking to appoint a Clinical Typist to work 15 hours per week within the Maternity & Gynaecology Care Unit, Family Care Division.
RSA II Typewriting / Word Processing (or equivalent), previous clerical experience, audio typing skills and a clear understanding of confidentiality are essential requirements of this post. Knowledge of medical terminology and previous experience of working within a Healthcare environment is desirable

Chesterfield Royal Hospital was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 1985 and since then it has continued to expand and modernise, currently holding approximately 550 beds. We provide acute in-patient and out-patient care for Chesterfield and the surrounding rural area of North Derbyshire, serving a population of approximately 350,000 people.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work to deadlines together with familiarity of general office equipment and proficient use of computer packages are also all essential requirements.
