We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Client Service Specialist.
Senior Implementation Consultant role is based within the Global Liquidity and Cash Management (GLCM) Implementation Team, whose purpose is to on-board and implement the suite of GLCM Products and Services to Commercial Banking (CMB) clients. The wider Client Management team incorporates Client integration, Client Implementation and Client Service.
This role is based in Edinburgh
In this role, you will:
- Project manage implementation of GLCM solutions for Corporate, FIG and NBFI clients, working closely with key internal stakeholders (e.g. KYC, Coverage, Sales, Service, Product, Operations). Depending on level of experience, the job-holder will carry out the project management for a number of projects concurrently
- Drive progress and timelines of projects to achieve optimal ‘time to revenue’ for the bank and to meet client expectations from a delivery standpoint
- Engage with and build close working relationships with European and global colleagues in order to facilitate a seamless implementation process
- Manage work streams and resources across the business units. Develop and maintain a good working relationship with client contacts and third parties is therefore a key component of the role as is management of project stakeholders
- Be up to date with product, market and technical developments in order to implement the most appropriate customer solution
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Good inter-personal and influencing skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision but ensuring strict oversight of project milestones and risks / issues (including using escalation channels as appropriate)
- Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered
- Proven organisational skills, successfully managing numerous competing tasks at the same time, while ensuring consistent delivery
- Experience of building effective customer relationships which create customer advocacy
- Experience of making timely and rational decisions, based on relevant information and experience
- Availability to undertake the travel required for this role, i.e. some domestic and overseas travel
- Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. ‘Implementation/Project Manager’ is desirable but not essential
- Relevant product knowledge including GLCM products and services is desirable but not essential
- Experience of using relevant software packages, i.e. Excel, Word, Powerpoint is essential
- Role relevant qualifications, i.e. CertICM, Prince2 is desirable but not essential
- Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Global Liquidity and Cash Management, Global Banking and Markets is desirable but not essential
