Role Purpose:
This role is responsible for leading engagement with and responding to clients and prospects in relation to matters of Information Security and compliance. The Client Security Engagement Specialist role acts as a central pillar of the client engagement process, responding to structured pre-sales Information Security questions, or clients’ annual supplier assessment queries. Supporting subject matter experts across various teams in the completion of complex security centric questions\answers within defined timescales, as well as directly assisting in the drafting of responses to such questions.
Due to the unique placement of this role, these works are to be completed under the supervision and support of both the Security and Pre-Sales functions in order to establish knowledge of our products, processes and people as well as understanding of the existing libraries and materials from which responses and answers can be provided. The work is client facing and as such needs to be completed to a high degree of accuracy and quality and delivered within agreed timelines.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the organisation, collation and response to both Pre-Sales and Client annual due diligence security questionnaires
- Engaging with internal subject matter experts to provide accurate up-to-date answers
- Engaging with internal stakeholders around delivery timelines and priorities
- Gathering information security related materials for client distribution
- Monitoring and reporting on the success of the programme
- Maintaining Libraries with accurate responses (Qvidian & SharePoint)
- To become responsible for improving and maturing the relevant existing processes
Knowledge and Experience:
- Required - Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Required - Very strong organisational skills
- Required - Knowledge of MS Office.
- Beneficial - Knowledge of or hands-on experience of effectively managing and owning tasks and communicating expectations.
- Beneficial - Understanding of Information Security best practices
- Beneficial – Ability to effectively communicate and manage senior stakeholders
