Job description
Campus & Residential Services are seeking experienced, customer-focussed cleaning staff to join their team and provide a high-quality service to our University staff and students. Based at our City Campus (LS1), you will be responsible for maintaining cleaning & hygiene standards within areas such as offices, classrooms & specialist teaching spaces.
You should be able to work on your own initiative, be proactive and present yourself in a professional manner at all times as a key member of the Campus Services Team.
Good communication skills are essential in order to understand work instructions, comply with health and safety requirements and undertake online training courses. You should also be confident to speak to staff & students and handle ad hoc work requests.
Experience in using cleaning equipment and cleaning materials is also essential but more detailed training will be provided.
The current vacancy is part time (20 hours per week, Mon-Fri):
- Afternoon (2:00 – 6:00 pm)
