The Role
As our Call Handler you will be responsible for maintaining property services by delivering planned and reactive maintenance to an agreed programme, budget and quality within the company’s operational targets.
You will be expected to:
- Monitoring jobs and liaising with contractor for sheltered blocks.
- As part of the legal process and court hearings you will need to arrange dates to obtain warrants and arrange for the relevant parties to attend forced entries all forced entries.
- Raising and liaising with contractors on Asbestos jobs and allocate costing
- First point of contact for all calls coming into the Walthamstow Office call centre.
- To cover anyone other member of the team’s duties in their absence.
- Input data from resident satisfaction forms.
Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 08:00 am to 17:00 pm, and flexibility with working hours is essential as overtime will be required from time to time.
The Candidate
To be considered for our Call Handler role, you will have the following skills and experience:
Qualifications
- GCSE in Mathematics and English
- A business administration or customer service qualification will be beneficial, but not essential.
- Intermediate level user of Microsoft Office.
Experience
- Previous experience within a busy customer service role.
Skills/Knowledge
- The ability to establish and maintain effective, professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective time management and organisation of own workload
- The ability to learn new software packages.
- To be able to work as part of a team
