Core Daily Responsibilities:
- Review Site Development Drawings (road, storm drainage, sewer, grading, erosion control) for compliance with County regulations.
- Communicate via email, phone, and meetings with applicants, developers, builders, engineers, planners, surveyors, and other professionals.
- Assist walk-in customers in the Development Center Lobby.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field OR
- Registered as an Engineer-In-Training OR
- Four years of progressively responsible, broad-based civil engineering experience
- Education and work experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.
Special Requirements/Qualifications:
- Position may require satisfactory physical condition as evidenced by a County-approved medical examination prior to appointment
SPECIAL NOTE: Engineering students in their final quarter/semester of education prior to receiving their Bachelor’s Degree will be considered. The recruiting requirements of the position would have to be met prior to employment beginning

Pay: $40.18 - $50.62 per hour
