Immediate start.We are looking for a dynamic head chef to lead our team in a brand new opening of our Zinnia Pan Asian restaurant in Southend on sea.This job is reposted as the company had issues with visas for the planned in coming Head Chef.Pan Asian experience is preferable, but not essential. The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of fine food and service in a fast paced environment.The Elysuim group boasts 5 wonderful venues, and is expanding throughout Essex, with plans to take the group nationwide.Responsibilities:- Oversee all aspects of food production and kitchen operations- Create and develop new menu items and recipes- Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation- Manage and train kitchen staff, including cooks and assistants- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan and execute special events or promotionsQualifications:- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role- Strong knowledge of food production techniques and culinary trends- Excellent leadership and team management skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices- Creativity in developing new dishes and menu items- Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsWe offer competitive pay based on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth within our hospitality group.
