Job Title – Civil Enforcement Officer (Remote)
Rate of Pay - £10.40
Hours – 40hrs per week

What you will be doing
Our Civil Enforcement Officers are the eyes and ears of the local community, patrolling areas, providing advice to residents and members of the public, whist enforcing road traffic orders and issuing parking fines.
You will play a significant role in reducing traffic congestion through the enforcement of parking restrictions.
Your day will be spent, mostly outside, in all weathers. (Weather appropriate uniforms will be provided). You will be dealing with members of the public, face to face, so customer service must be something you enjoy, sometimes in difficult situations.
You will be deployed directly to a beat location from your home each day instead of reporting to the base, your day will be spent, mostly outside, in all weathers, walking upwards of 10 miles per day.
At NSL a healthy work life balance is important to us, so a range of Full-time and Part-time roles are available, (from 16 hours to 40 hours p/w) Monday to Sunday (including Bank Holidays) and shifts vary between 07:00 & 22:00. So flexibility is key.
In return for your hard work:
- Rate of pay - £9.90 per hour plus an additional 50p per hour for remote working
- Holiday - 20 days, pro rata plus 8 Bank Holidays – 7 Bank Holidays are deployable with the capacity to earn £20 per hour

Shift times for this role may include the following:
Shifts vary between 7am – 8pm. There is the possibility of the occasional 10pm finish during special events.
You will be someone who:
- Enjoys working outdoors, helping people and has great communication skills;
- Holds a full UK (United Kingdom) driving licence
- Has excellent interpersonal skills and can adapt your approach to any situation you may encounter.
- Must enjoy dealing with people, be friendly & polite, and be willing to offer support, advice and assistance to colleagues and customers.
- Has a basic knowledge on using a handheld mobile phone or tablet, but this would not be essential.
- Can work successfully as part of a team as well as taking on tasks as an individual.
