An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Physiotherapist to work within the Home Oxygen team at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
The post is full time (37.5 hours per week) although part time hours will be considered - please indicate your preference in your application.
Applicants will have a degree or diploma in Physiotherapy and be registered with the Health Professions Council. They should have recent NHS clinical experience to include some work with respiratory and an interest in the management of Chronic Disease. Experience of team working would be beneficial.
This postholder will primarily work within the Home Oxygen Team, assessing individuals need for home oxygen and supporting patients who already have it in place. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience and develop skills supporting the Home Oxygen Service. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to gain experience with Cystic Fibrosis and other Respiratory Out Patients. It will include Inpatient, Outpatient, domiciliary and virtual (nearme) work.
Due to the nature of the post a car driver is essential.
This post will contribute to out of hours working.
The Physiotherapy Department in the Acute Sector provides a supportive working environment with structured supervision, appraisal and in service training in place.
