Role: Charity Venue Booker
Salary: £11 Per Hour
Location: Glasgow (100% Home Working, however you will be required to attend a venue for start-up training, and monthly meetings)
At Virtual Sales Team (VST), we are on the hunt for confident individuals to join our professional and high successful Venue Booking team, who have a good local knowledge of Edinburgh and Scotland
No sales experience is necessarily needed as we recruit on life experience, personality, work ethic and attitude.
Role overview
The main purpose of the Venue Booker is to build rapport over the telephone with Charity Champions within Scotland and potentially extend to the rest of the UK. This will be done by explaining the fantastic work that the charities do locally and nationally and how the charities really do change lives. Once the rapport has been built you will book charity fundraisers into the venues to create more awareness and ultimately fundraise for these brilliant organisations. It is a lovely role working within a supportive team where you really feel you are making a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Making outbound calls to different venues
- Develop a full understanding of the Charities
- Influence the decision maker/ Charity Champion
- Provide excellent customer service
- Work as part of a team as well as on an individual basis
- Achieve targets on call quality and performance measures
Hours of work
Flexible between the hours of 09:00am- 17:00pm Monday - Friday with a Minimum of 16 hours.
Work Remotely
- Yes – You would be required to provide your own equipment, Ie, Laptop/Desktop. Headset can be provide on request.

Since then, VST have expanded into Charity Venue Booking in 2012 and we have partnered with some amazing charities, supporting, and organising for fundraisers to attend good quality stores throughout the UK for their charity.
