Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield and Newcastle.

We have an exciting opportunity for weekend animal keepers to work with and join our experienced team and look after our animal collection at our Stewart Park campus. This role will be working mainly weekends and holidays throughout the year, this includes bank holidays on a rota basis.

We are seeking individuals who as part of a small team will be responsible for the animal health and husbandry of our animal collection. Sector experience and knowledge specifically in animal management and welfare will be required.

The successful candidate will work with small mammals, farm livestock and reptiles and must be confident in all aspects of handling.

We offer an inclusive, dynamic, challenging and rewarding place to work.

Successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check
