- Responsible for fostering a fun environment.
- Responsible for being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers.
- Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events.
- Ensure interactions with internal and external guests follow the guidelines of the ACES Service Program.
- Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to company policy and T.I.P.S training.
- Promotes gaming events and promotions.
- May have to process cash and credit card transactions for guests while maintaining the integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities.
- Maintains a clean and stocked workstation.
- Complies with state, company, and department policies and regulations.
- Must have open availability including all three shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Create and maintain a seating chart at the direction of your supervisor or manager.
- Responsible for ensuring rotation is done correctly.
- Utilize Host Concepts software to ensure fairness and accuracy in seating.
- Utilize the ACES Service Guidelines, seating and offering a warm and friendly farewell.
- Roll silverware and clean during down time.
- Perform opening and closing side work at the direction of your supervisor or manager.
- Help team members ensure guest is served in a timely manner.
- Serve tables, clearing tables, expediting and running food when needed.
- Assist with bussing tables.
- Keeping the restaurant and host stand clean, organized and sanitized.
- Must be able to understand and articulate the menu to guests.
- Will work special events, as needed.
- Other duties, as needed.
- Must be 21 or older.
- Must have outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude.
- Must understand and the menu.
- Must enjoy hosting others.
- Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests.
- Able to promptly and accurately follow instructions given by Supervisor or Manager.
- Must qualify for licensing by Ohio Lottery Commission.
- Must be able to work as a team.
- Must be able to tolerate a high stimulus environment.
- Must be able to work a at a very fast pace and walk long distances throughout the shift.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must have open availability including all three shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.
- Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
- Must be comfortable and capable learning new software.
