Job Description
The cashier/processor provides retail store(s) with register operations, exemplary customer service, and other tasks assigned by management. The cashier/processor also sorts and prices donated goods and may assist in merchandising product.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform register opening and closing procedures, including counting and verifying starting register funds and accurately counting down register and deposit.
- Provide exemplary customer service.
- Pull and stock merchandise, and remove, rehang and restock articles left in dressing rooms.
- Perform other cleaning tasks as needed.
- Answer phones and make store announcements.
- Assist with the sorting, processing and pricing of donated goods.
Experience
No experience required.
Required Skills, Education, Certifications and Licenses
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must have basic math skills to accurately count cash
- Must have sufficient command of the English language to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
