We are looking for a talented Cash and Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our fast-paced finance team and play a pivotal role in the next stage of our company’s growth and help us to continue to develop as a business.

As a key member of the Financial Processing team, the Cash and AR Analyst will report into the Head of Financial Processing. You will perform the daily and monthly bank accounts reconciliations, weekly cashflow forecasting, credit control, resolving queries. You will be required to work across the whole processing team including managing customers debt collection. This role involves building relationships both internally/externally and working to tight deadlines.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and organised individual who can take responsibility for processes and change along with having the ability to prioritise and organise workload in collaboration with others.

Key Roles:

Cash Analyst

  • Accurately produce weekly cashflow reporting
  • Management and administration of the bank reconciliation process ensuring that all reconciliations are clean and fully reconciled for month end
  • Balance sheet management - responsible for all bank account month end reconciliations and reporting
  • Daily reconciliations for all payment solutions vs sales system
  • Reconciliation of monthly receipts in coordination with management accountants
  • Circulate daily bank balances to senior management
  • Release deferred payments on Pay360/Cybersource our payment solutions
  • Allocation and reconciliation of credit card top ups and statement payments

Accounts Receivable Analyst

  • Manage the recovery of customer debt, tracking recovery performance escalating issues in line with the customer debt recovery process
  • Outstanding balance reviews completed with the Sales/Sales Operations teams
  • Work with Customer Experience and Safety Officer to process customer refunds
  • Updating chargeback information through the Barclays portal and ensure these are reflected on the sales system.
  • Chargeback reconciliation to be done against, Barclays Portal, Sales System and monthly statement
  • Monitor accounts receivable inbox to address payment queries and invoice requests raised by the sales team
  • Support the tech team with the implementation and testing of the payment system for online sales and monitor fraud levels.
  • Raise and monitor receipts for group rent invoices, VCC commission invoices and other ad hoc invoicing
  • Seek out ways to streamline and improve the AR process
  • Other ad hoc duties to support the finance processing team

Requirements

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Skilled in planning, prioritising and organising tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Effective in handling multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to follow, monitor and enforce processes
  • Able to identify and escalate queries as appropriate
  • Excellent team working and collaboration skills

Experience

  • Two to three years’ experience in a Cash Analyst and Accounts Receivable role or proven relevant experience within a finance team. Within Travel industry is desirable.
  • Experience with banking, financial products and cash management
  • You will have strong Microsoft Excel of Google Sheet skills
  • Experience in reconciling across multiple systems
  • Sage 200 experience desirable
