Are you interested in scientific production and eager to contribute to the development of life-saving treatments?
We have an exciting opportunity for you to support our Production Team as we create cutting-edge medicinal antigens derived from the Eimeria parasite, which commonly infects animals, including birds. As a close member of the team, you will work with pathogen-free birds, follow current Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines, help us meet demand and make a difference.
This varied role may see you responsible for any or all of the following:
- Animal Husbandry
- Operation of Process Equipment
- Cleaning and preparation of equipment
- Completion of Batch documentation
- Basic Microscopy
- Environmental Monitoring in the facility
- Progression towards a Technician role
You will also play your part in:
- Quality Assurance: Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Process Operational Instructions (POI) meticulously. Your attention to detail will ensure the production of unsterile bulk antigens of the highest quality
- Safety First: By maintaining a safe working environment within our Production Units, you will contribute to the well-being of our team and the success of our operations.
- Facilities Management: Ensure that our equipment and facilities meet the highest standards and report issues promptly to our Engineering department for swift resolution.
- Team Collaboration: Foster positive and effective communication with your team members and internal customers to facilitate a collaborative work environment where ideas are encouraged, and solutions flow freely.
Qualifications:
- Animal Enthusiast: Previous experience working with animals will be highly valued.
- Good Manufacturing Practice: Understanding and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles is highly desirable to ensuring compliance and the production of top-quality antigens. Alternatively, experience of working in a heavily regulated environment would also be a significant benefit.
