Are you an experienced Fire Door Fitter looking for a new opportunity? Look no further! We are currently seeking two skilled and dedicated Fire Door Fitters to join our reputable company. As a Fire Door Fitter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and compliance of buildings by installing, repairing, and maintaining fire doors.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain fire doors in accordance with industry regulations and standards.
• Conduct thorough inspections of fire doors to assess their condition and identify any necessary repairs or replacements.
• Ensure proper functioning of fire door hardware, including hinges, handles, locks, and closers.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to determine project requirements and timelines.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on construction sites or occupied buildings.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
• Stay updated on the latest fire door regulations, industry trends, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Fire Door Fitter, preferably with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of fire door installation techniques, hardware, and fire safety regulations.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, while adhering to project deadlines.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
• Relevant certifications or training in fire door installation and maintenance are preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £38,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
