An opportunity has arisen for an organised and detail-oriented Contract Review Administrator to join their dynamic team. As a Contract Review Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of contractual agreements. Your primary responsibility will be to review, analyse, and interpret various contracts and legal documents, ensuring they align with company policies and meet regulatory requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail to contribute to our client's success.
This position would particularly suit a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator who has extensive experience handling contracts and is approaching the latter stages of their career.
Responsibilities:
· You will be responsible for thoroughly reviewing and analysing contracts, purchase orders, and legal documents to identify key terms, conditions, and obligations. It will be your duty to ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
· Your keen eye for detail will help you identify and assess potential risks and liabilities associated with contract terms and conditions.
· Collaborating with our client's legal and risk management teams, you will play a crucial role in mitigating risks and proposing appropriate solutions or contract amendments when necessary.
· In this role, you will be accountable for maintaining accurate and organised records of all contracts and legal documents, including contract changes, revisions, and amendments. You will also contribute to the development and maintenance of a comprehensive contract repository/database for easy retrieval and reference.
· Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders is a key aspect of this position. You will collaborate closely with project managers, sales teams, and finance departments to gather necessary information, address inquiries, and resolve contract-related issues in a timely manner.
· Your expertise will come into play during contract negotiation processes. You will provide support by offering insights, analysing terms, and ensuring contract terms align with our client's business objectives.
· Collaborating with legal counsel and other team members, you will propose and negotiate favourable contract terms.
· Staying updated with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards will be an essential part of your role. You will ensure compliance within contract management activities and make recommendations for process improvements to enhance compliance and efficiency.
· As part of your responsibilities, you will prepare regular reports and summaries on contract status, renewal dates, obligations, and potential risks. Conducting data analysis, you will identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Proven experience in contract administration, contract review, or a similar role.
· Strong knowledge of contract law, legal terminology, and industry-specific regulations.
· Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
· Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
