Job description
Victoria House Residential Care Home is currently recruiting a Female Night Shift Care Assistant to work 24 - 36 hours per week, with the opportunity for overtime and additional hours to cover annual leave and sickness. Shifts will work on a two week rolling rota basis with alternative weekends off.
Experience is preferred, but not essential, as the successful applicant will be given an in-depth induction and work alongside experienced staff members.
Our client group is female only, with a range of mental health issues, learning and physical disabilities. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the very best standard of care is delivered at all times.
Duties will include;
- Completing and promoting personal care
- Administrating medication, (when competently trained and observed by the Manager / Deputy)
- Domestic duties around the home
- Meal preparation following specific dietary plans
- Empowering service users to access social activities within the community
Training and supervision needs met on a regular basis.
The successful applicant will be required to complete an enhanced disclosure and barring check (DBS).
