Job description
- To work within the philosophies of the service, adhering to Green Square Accord's policies and procedures at all times
- Support customers in all aspects of daily living including all aspects of personal care
- Provide care and support as identified in individual care plans and support key workers in planning for customers
- Ensure that customers well-being is monitored and any concerns are raised with the appropriate persons
- Encourage and promote customers independence and decision making
- Initiate and encourage participation in social activities within the scheme
- Be aware of health and safety issues for customers, self and others, paying prompt attention to all safety requirements with regard to fire precautions, fire drills and hazards
- Maintain confidentiality of all records and information relating to residents/staff in accordance with Green Square Accords Confidentiality Policy
- Communicate effectively with other team members
- Participate in training appropriate to the post, attending staff meetings, supervision and appraisal
- Complete any other tasks or duties as reasonably required in connection with the post

It is desired that you are qualified to a Grade C/4 or above in maths and English or equivalent, although this is not essential.
Future prospects
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, there is the possibility to move into a permanent position and work towards progressing into senior roles with in Green Square Accord.
