An exciting new opportunity has arisen to appoint Care Workers at our new Extra Care Scheme Appleton Court.
The East Riding's latest extra care scheme, which is located in Hessle, offers 44 apartment homes to adults who are supported with their varying levels of care needs to live as independently as possible. The scheme caters for a variety of ages from 18+. The care team is available onsite 24 hours a day. We also support with active recovery for adults who require short term reablement care.
As the newly appointed Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing emotional and physical care and support to the tenants at Appleton Court. You will be part of a community-based team, delivering care as outlined in agreed care plans and supporting the tenants with maintaining their independence. Support will focus on outcomes-based care, promoting access to the community, technology enabled care (TEC) and reablement support.
We are looking for people who are highly motivated and who have a passion for helping others in a modern and fast-moving care sector.
Working at Appleton Court, you will be an integral part of enabling and supporting people to live their life how they choose to. Promoting independence and introducing them into the Appleton Court wider community.

The Care Worker rota pattern is a two-week rolling rota which includes every other weekend off.
We have 24 hours (4 days) and 18 hours (3 days) per week. Hours of work are 4:00pm - 10:00pm.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Access to a vehicle
- An enhanced DBS clearance check including Adults Barred List
