LIVE WORK SUPPORT
Whether you are new to care or an experienced Support Worker we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our friendly team as a Waking Night Support Worker.

This role provides an opportunity for people that are not wanting to take on a full-time position, but should you wish to, there is an opportunity to work additional hours on occasions.
About the role
This is a four bedded respite service for adults with learning disabilities and we pride ourselves on offering a home away from home environment.
The role of Waking Night Support Worker requires the applicant to work in a person-centred manner, promoting well-being, choices, dignity and independence.
As part of our Respite Service, we provide 24-hour care to our customers throughout the year.
Night shift hours are 9.00pm -7.00am.
Wiltshire Council provide full training, including the nationally recognised Care Certificate, as well as training tailored to the needs of the people you support, an in-depth and thorough induction and plenty of career development opportunities. You will receive regular training opportunities and you will work within the Councils Our Identity policy.
About you
You will be supported to undertake a 26-week probationary period with regular meetings throughout this period to monitor progress and enable us to identify any areas that we can offer you additional support.
There will be the expectation of occasional daytime working to attend training courses.
