This is a fantastic opportunity to join our outstanding Trust to lead our education, learning and development service. Our people are critical to our continued success and the care we provide; and the design, implementation and evaluation of effective education, learning and development strategies, plans and interventions that deliver on organisational aims will be your top priority.
Collaborative, innovative and inclusive you'll work alongside internal and external stakeholders, learning providers, partners and Health Education England in the development and implementation of strategic education, learning and development interventions that ensure our staff have the right clinical and non-clinical skills and knowledge.
You will oversee the development, delivery and management of all clinical and non- clinical education and mandatory training for the Trust, as well as having overall responsibility for programmes such as our successful apprentice programme, student and preceptorship programme, professional development and clinical skills provision ensuring we have a sustainable workforce supply.
An effective and motivational leader witha strong track record of success and adept at working flexibly with diverse teams and harnessing the talent around you. You will also have excellent knowledge of the current NHS, Health Education England (HEE) learning and development funding arrangements.
