Are you confident leader? Are you looking to work in a collabritve and inclusive company? We are looking for a Senior Group Reporting Manager to join the team.

The Group Reporting Manager role is key senior finance role within iQ, with overall responsibility and accountability of Financial Reporting and overall the Group's Balance Sheet and consolidation. This role will manage the Group's external audit and lead a number of finance projects, with involvement in M&A.

The ideal candidate will always drive their team (of four) to challenge the established processes, practices and controls, with an eye for detail themselves. They will lead the Group reporting team to an increased level of maturity, implementing process and control improvements where required and ultimately drive the team to deliver an exceptionally efficient and high quality service to its stakeholders. They will have a strong knowledge of IFRS and proven track record of working well with new systems.

The Group Reporting Manager should be able to work well in a fast paced multi-site business and have excellent interpersonal skills, to enable them to work well with the department's various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating a culture of continuous improvement to develop the team to perform at the level of a listed business. Constantly challenging the current state, leading ongoing reviews and development of existing processes and controls.
  • Overall responsibility for the Group's Balance Sheet and below EBITDA in the P&L, core month-end responsibilities include:
  • M&A activity - including the associated acquisition accounting and data migration of acquired entities.
  • Working with IT - deliver ongoing system improvements with the financial system
  • Various other projects that impact the Balance Sheet, including structuring and involvement with those driven by Tax and Treasury.
  • Responsibility for the Group audit and preparation of the Group's Annual Report. Responsibility for a large volume of statutory accounts. Working closely with the external auditors throughout the year, ensuring ad hoc transactions are audited at the right time.

Experience

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
  • Previous experience in a Senior Group Finance role, ideally within a multi site business
  • Experience of working for a dynamic, fast-paced organisation undergoing transformation
