Job description
In this role you will;
- Prepare and cook hot breakfasts, simple hot meals and cakes
- Produce food to help facilitate a healthy balanced diet
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen
- Present food and drink in an appetizing way to encourage enjoyment
- Maintain and clean all kitchen surfaces, fixtures and fittings.
You will be required to work flexiburs you would like to work can be discussed at interview) Monday – Sunday between the hours of 7.00am – 7.30pm, including alternate weekends and bank holidays. With the ability to cover for sickness and holidays when required.
You will need a current Food Hygiene Certificate, good verbal communication skills, the ability to work on own initiative, and also to work effectively as part of a team.
Previous catering experience and of working with people in a residential or health setting is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
When rostered to work bank holidays you will be paid, at an enhanced hourly rate.
