Job description
A rewarding role for anyone with a love for animals, the outdoors and engaging young people with therapeutic, animal- assisted activities.
1:1 and small group support for children between 5 and 18, some with behaviour that challenges, helping them achieve meaningful and fun tasks looking after our range of rescue animals, gardening and helping nature. Your role is to facilitate social and emotional growth, build self-esteem and support achievement of animal care qualifications post-14. There is also some adult support work.
You will be a dynamic, positive and physically active person, with a genuine love for the outdoors, a confident and organised facilitator who can support young people who may be anxious, have additional needs or communication challenges. You will be able to keep yourself and others safe in a farm environment and understand safeguarding and animal welfare legislation and responsibilities.
The role requires daily reporting on progress made towards targets, following health and safety and safeguarding protocols and planning daily timetables and activities.

This is a term time only position with variable hours between 9 and 3, with some optional holiday work.
