\*Full & Part-time Opportunities\* \*£10.60 per hour\* Healthrites care solutions are looking for experienced Domiciliary Carers to provide high quality personal care for the Elderly or people with disabilities in Aberdeen and surrounding areas of Scotland. We are passionate about supporting people to enable them to continue to live independently in their homes. You will provide person centred care and support in response to each individuals needs. You will typically carry out multiple visits to people in their homes and travel time and mileage between visits will be paid. Lone working is required but only following full training and a shadow period The role offers a lot of working flexibility over 7days period and for working hours; you can work full-time, part-time or simply pick up extra work revolving around your other commitments. The role of a domiciliary care worker also involves supporting each individual to take as much control in their life as possible, and to exercise their rights, responsibilities and obligations as citizens. Main Role and Responsibilities are but not limited to \* Promote individuality, identity, rights, choice, privacy, independence, dignity, respect and partnership \* Promote equal opportunities and challenge prejudice or discrimination; through formal and safeguarding procedures where appropriate \* Ensure vulnerable people are safeguarded from abuse and to report any instances of alleged abuse which you witness or become aware of \* To enable independence wherever possible and encourage motivation, to avoid dependency \* To assist people to access mainstream and specialist services and agencies that promote their health and wellbeing \* To assist people with getting up in the morning and going to bed at night \* To assist with dressing and undressing \* To assist with personal care like washing, bathing and showering \* To assist people with looking after their skin, teeth, hair and nails \* To assist with toileting, continence management and personal hygiene \* To prompt and assist people with their medication at the agreed level of support and as detailed in their medication care needs assessment \* To prepare food and drink, being aware of people’s choice, likes/ dislikes, nutritional needs and cultural requirements \* To provide General household tasks, including housework, laundry and shopping as detailed in the care plan \* To use personal protective equipment as outlined \* To use manual handling equipment safely and correctly \*What we are looking for:\* \* Carers who will take pride in setting an example of high-quality support and care giving. \* We are looking for experienced carer, but we will offer trainings and necessary supports to assist you learn and be confident in your new role. \* Carers with a clean Drivers licence required, and access to own vehicle with full business use insurance will be an advantage although we do have company vehicles that could be used. \* Cares willing to work with some flexibility over 7 days including evenings and possibly some nights, Bank Holidays \* Carers who can work as part of a team to make a difference \* Cares who take responsibilities, follow laid down instructions, able to work with little or less supervisions, Proactive, use their own initiatives. \* Carer willing to learn and adapt leanings to their day to day work \* Carers who are prompt, quick in response and able to properly manage their time \*What we offer:\* \* Travel and mileage time paid. \* Uniform and full PPE provided. \* Full e-learning training provided including the opportunity for professional qualifications. \* Guaranteed Work hours Please note that job offer for care assistants are subject to satisfactory references and Disclosure Scotland Scheme Membership (PVG Healthrites is committed to promoting a diverse and an inclusive workforce as we believe this promotes a comfortable working environment for all our staff.
