Home Instead are one of the leading providers of care assistants to the elderly in the UK. We provide a highly successful team of care professionals who visit our clients in their own homes and who travel daily between clients, assisting and supporting them, whatever their individual needs.
We are now looking for people who reside in Welwyn, Hatfield & the Borehamwood & Potters Bar locations to join our wonderful team of support workers.
We are interested in speaking to people with or without previous experience within the Adult Care sector and will happily train from scratch those with a passion who are seeking new challenges and believe they can offer our clients a tip top service.

We do require that you have a car - this is essential to enable you to travel between clients each day. We also require you to be able to work on a Saturday and Sunday on alternate weekends.

What you will bring to the role:
- Companionship and wellbeing support
- Help with everyday tasks from meal preparation to light housework
- Assist with washing & dressing and continence care
- Helping your client access their community
We offer in return:
- Competitive pay from £11.00 to £22.00ph, generally averaging £13.00ph
- Double time for bank holiday hours worked
- Uplifted rates for QCF level 2+ qualified
- £0.30 pence per mile travel allowance
- Hourly rates or 20- or 30-hour contracts, if suitable
- Fully paid training
- Minimum 1 hourly calls

We offer fantastic Award-Winning Training comprising of e-learning modules and in-house workshops. All training is fully paid, and we undertake to continuously update your training ensuring you remain at the top of your chosen profession.
We do insist all staff have their own car - essential as you will be visiting clients in their own homes.
We also insist that you work your normal scheduled hours on a Saturday and Sunday on alternate weekends. We can be flexible in respect of hours and days worked but covering some weekend working is essential.
