The Team
The Senior Digital Content Manager plays a pivotal role in the running of the site, but also the long-term vision, focused on delivering growth.
The Digital Content team is made up of 4 areas – Launch, Planning, Product Optimisation and Digital Operations. This talented Digital team are responsible for efficiently launching new products on Dunelm.com, through to co-ordinating the customer messages across our digital shop window.
The Role
This role is responsible for all content on Dunelm.com from Product pages to Help Pages, Homepage to Category pages. You’ll work closely with the editorial content team and SEO to ensure we align and maximise key customers and commercial opportunities. Managing both the daily running of the team, but also having the vision to create the future roadmap, the Senior Content Manager will be a strong influencer and able to create strong relationships across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively lead the Planning, Launch, Optimisation and Operations team
- Create, maintain, and deliver the Digital content trading plan, ensuring alignment across key site pages such as the Homepage.
- Accountable for the delivery of key seasonal campaigns and events including Sale, Christmas, Black Friday, including making tactical in-event tweaks to maximise sales opportunities.
- Work closely with Marketing Planning team, Commercial, Design and product to drive the D.com agenda
- Key stakeholder of the Product team, championing the development of the CMS, PDP and commercial inspiration.
- Push the boundaries on launch efficiencies, being demanding on what technical advancements are required to further enhance the process.
- Develop a deep understanding of our customer and our business through data, research, and relationships to ensure that solutions land successfully.
- Provide clear progress and performance updates to the business.
You will play a critical role in delivering growth for Dunelm.com, this is a new role and therefore has scope to be shaped within the parameters of the key deliverables. Who you are and how you deliver is just as important to us, as what you deliver, therefore for this role you will ideally be / have:
- A Digital leader with strong experience
- Proven track record of identifying and implementing process efficiencies
- Experience with Google Analytics, Monday.com and content reporting (Content Square) is desirable
- Instinctively commercial
- Awareness / understanding of SEO best practise
- Track record of having delivered change and taking the team through the transition
- A “get things done” mindset, knowing how and when to communicate progress whilst delivering value quickly
- Excellent stakeholder communication & influencing skills
- Natural collaborator and team-player, evidencing a “stronger-together” approach.
- Understanding of UX/UI and experimentation methods
