Hourly rate – £9.50 - £9.75 per hour (higher rate upon proof of required qualification)
Working hours/pattern – Days or Nights available
08:00 hrs – 20:00 hrs (Days)
20:00 hrs – 08:00 hrs (Nights)
Location – 45 Nesfield Road, Belle Isle, Leeds, LS10 3LG

A Care Assistant plays a vital role in supporting our people living with dementia. You will be part of a team to make sure everyone is cared for with dignity and respect through person-centred care. You will support individuals in meaningful activities.
No day is ever the same! The position is a challenging but rewarding role that requires you to give individualised personal care. You will be part of our care team that understands each person’s needs and provides a meaningful contribution to their lives.
Main Duties
Support people living with dementia based on individual ability with all aspects of personal care including toileting, bathing etc. following person-centred care plans carefully and ensuring that your approach is polite, friendly, warm, and supportive.
To always be aware of individuals physical and mental wellbeing.
To accurately maintain and update documentation as required.
To encourage and support meaningful person-centred activities ensuring individuals’ social and emotional needs are met.
To participate in mealtimes ensuring a pleasant experience for our people.
To be a team player and able to communicate well, both verbally and written.
