Carers/Night care Assistant required - Full or part-time
The Swallows Care Home offers residential and dementia care for up to 33 residents. Our trained and skilled staff are required to provide support for each resident’s physical and emotional needs, whilst helping them to maintain as much independence as possible.
To help keep our supportive and friendly home running as smoothly as possible, we are looking for part time carers for both day and night shifts. We require caring and compassionate staff to help us deliver the type of care you’d want your own relatives to have. Experience is essential and we will provide you with the support and training you may need which will include an induction.
Your role will include assisting with personal care including washing, bathing and dressing, supporting people who need help at meal times, and by taking part in social activities with residents. As a Carer you must be able to ensure the general well-being of our residents, to help promote their independence, and deliver the highest standards of care
All job offers are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of adults and successful applicants are required to provide a current DBS disclosure. If your application is successful, you must produce evidence that you have either commenced or completed the vaccination programme. If not, you must agree to have both vaccinations, commencing the programme at the first available opportunity. Please note it is a legal requirement that all care home staff need to be fully vaccinated by 11th November 2021, or prove medical exemption.
