Position: Real Estate Law Clerk (5+ years experience)
We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Law Clerk to join our growing team on a contractual basis. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable, adaptable, and confident in handling various real estate transactions.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience as a Real Estate Law Clerk
- Experience in additional practice areas (Business, Wills & Estates, or Family Law) is a plus
- Hybrid work environment; occasional in-office work in Toronto as needed
- Strong understanding of real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, and refinancing
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple files
Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, and managing real estate documents
- Communicating with clients, lenders, and other parties
- Preparing closing documents and statements of adjustments
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
