Care Assistant

Salary: £10.20 to £11.15 per hour

Hours: Day shifts 8am until 9pm, Night shifts 9pm until 8am

Location: Morris Care Centre, Wellington.

We operate six nursing homes across Shropshire and Cheshire and our residents need the support of caring people, like you, to help them lead fulfilling lives.

  • Full and part-time people
  • With compassion and a drive to help others.
  • You’ll need good written/verbal communication and people skills.
  • We like people who work well in a team.
  • Flexibility is important. Team members work alternate weekends.
  • Good IT skills, able to work with computer systems.

You’ll be helping our residents live satisfying and dignified lives by supporting their physical and emotional needs. As part of a kind and caring team, you will:

  • Organise and take part in social and recreational activities.
  • Assist with residents’ personal care and mealtimes.
  • Provide support to help residents maintain their independence.
  • Get to know residents and their families to provide the best possible care.
  • Maintain accurate records.
