At Heritage Care Recruitment we are seeking a compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to our clients, helping them to maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Duties:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help clients with mobility and transferring.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes to the supervisor.
-Developing relationship with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing the personal care.
Experience:
- Prior experience in caregiving to Dementia/Alzheimer and old age/Elderly care patient.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
- Compassionate and patient demeanour.
