Job Title: Care Assistant
Location: Limegrove - East Horsley
Rate of Pay: £11.75 - £12.37 per hour
Job Purpose:
As a Care Assistant, you will play a key role in enabling our customers to lead as active and independent lives as possible by providing holistic and personal care. You will be responsible for delivering care plans, prioritizing tasks, ensuring health and safety standards are met, and identifying and reporting signs of poor practice or abuse. You will promote choice for our customers in their daily living by providing care that meets the Care Quality Commissions (CQC) fundamental standards and supports happy living for the years ahead.
We are looking for care assistants to join the team, and have 2, 3 4 or 5 days available per week.
Key Accountabilities and Decision Making:
- Provide person-centred care and support as identified in the care plan, whilst promoting choice and enabling residents to maintain independence and dignity.
- Assist in keeping the location clean, safe and odour-free for residents, ensuring health and safety policies are adhered to.
- Maintain and complete accurate documentation of all care and support undertaken, recognising, documenting, and reporting any changes in the care plan, and participating in customer reviews as required.
- Enrich the wellbeing of residents by assisting in social activities.
- Undertake key worker duties, building relationships with residents, families, and professionals.
Knowledge Skills:
- Ability to read, understand and complete/contribute to care plans.
- Health and safety in the workplace.

- Understanding of confidentiality and data protection within a care setting.
